Description

Would you like to create your own games and share them with your friends? Learn how to program with Scratch, a visual programming language developed at MIT. You’ll start by learning how to make a character move on the screen when you press a key on the keyboard. Gradually you’ll add other game elements including score tallying, music and your own game graphics. You’ll then go on to apply what you’ve learned to creating your very own game. At the end of the course you’ll have the opportunity to share your work with the class. Students will also be given a CD with their completed work to take home. The instructor for this class will be Robert Lysik.

Supplies (optional)
